 This fall the Scioto Ridge PTO will be launching our Fall Fundraising campaign to raise money for various projects in the school – including supplementing Scioto Ridge’s Mentor Text Library.

 Become a part of Scioto Ridge History
You will have the opportunity to purchase an engraved brick to be placed in a special walkway from the school playground to the pavilion. The bricks will be engraved with your own message so that for years to come your family will become a permanent legacy of Scioto Ridge Elementary School.

 Everyone is invited
Anyone can buy a brick, either for your student, your family, or to commemorate special occasions, or to honor or remember a special loved one.

PTO meetings are held the second Tuesday of every month during the school year in the SRES Commons. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend.

Again this year we will be kicking off the “Just Give 2″ volunteer campaign at Open House and Curriculum Nights.  It is our hope that each parent will give a minimum of 2 hours of their time to volunteer needs at SRES this year.  We have a wonderful array of opportunities that will meet the working parent, stay-at-home parent, grandparent, or “empty-nester” needs.

Thank you to all the parents, teachers and staff that devote their time to our school and children
throughout the year. Please don’t forget to look at our two new bulletin boards in the main hallway of the school. One board is dedicated to upcoming news and events for the PTO/School. Our other bulletin board, entitled PTO for Parents has educational information geared towards parents. This month the featured information is on how to help your children with their homework.
